Thanks

There was a time when I was little where we went around the table and everyone had to say what they were thankful for in the past year. I remember frantically trying to decide what to say when it was my turn. I wanted it to be something really, really good. 

This year I'm thankful for how far I'm come yet again. I'm thankful for being able to find happiness, run around, and dance like crazy. I am grateful for my job and my ever-expanding cooking skills (as well as the chef who has given me such neat opportunities and made me feel like family). I'm appreciative of a medical diagnosis for someone close to me that turned out to be very, very good news. I'm glad to have met so many new people this year who've had such a positive impact on my life already. I'm grateful for the friends I've had for a while whose time and support is so very much appreciated as well as family members who've helped me keep moving forward. And I especially thank everyone who has let me photograph them this year - with an extra, extra special thanks to you two who entrusted me with the lead on your wedding photos. 

There. I think that was really, really good.
